Oh, what a night...
Yeah, it's just 8am...
The Brooklyn Museum.
Was very lucky to catch this exhibit almost immediately after it's opening, which was on March 16th. The Brooklyn Museum did such an amazing job with this retrospective exhibit, I was quite taken back. The retrospective covers the years that Keith Haring lived in New York City. Definitely a must see.
Untitled - Keith Haring, 1982.
Haring's "alphabet".
Penis drawings.
Really loved this wallpaper technique.
Subway art.
Also, I feel that I must add that the gift shop of this exhibition is remarkable.
Following our museum visit, Alys and I headed to my Momma's house to pre-game/eat before the Damian, Julian and Stephen Marley concert that evening! The concert was on March 22nd and was held at the Best Buy Theater. It was breathtaking.
Still Searching...
Closing out the night with One Love...
After the concert, we headed back to the apartment to eat some more and just hang out.
Just another lunch date at The Meatball Shop. The special "naked" chicken marsala meatballs with mushroom gravy sauce, rigatoni with parmesan cream sauce and sauteed broccoli.
At the grand opening of The Flat.
Since this is such a picture/video heavy post, I will only leave you with few words. I hope you've enjoyed my rundown of the very beginning of Spring, one of my absolute favorite seasons. Thank you for reading and I hope all is well, darlings! XO
