FEBRUARY'S FINALE.

Dinner at Petite Abeille to celebrate my Momma's birthday!
@ 401 East 20th Street, NYC, 10009.
Croquettes de Fromage.
The Steak Frites with herb butter.
Split banana Belgian waffle.

Later on that evening,
I headed to the Tender Trap to support the DJ's,
one of which was my main kitten.
Friday night, we really did it up with a bang at the Tribeca Grand.
Amazing!

Then Saturday came along and boyfriend and I decided that
we should have a relaxing evening in.
I rummaged through internet recipes for dinner ideas and
came up with this:

Spicy BBQ Whiskey burgers with parmesan waffle fries and Greek salad.
Delicious.

Ah, here comes Monday...
My main kitten and I woke up bright and early, around 8:30am and
decided that it was time to be productive.
We hit 23rd Street with hopes to thrift, lunch and hang.
The American Apparel Warehouse sale.
As we headed to the LES, I decided that it was urgent to trim my bangs.
I stopped at my new favorite place, Kanako Salon and had the job done.
Very satisfied with the results, as usual!

Since we didn't come up with much while thrifting,
we decided that along with lunch, we needed drinks.
We ate and drank at our usual "go-to" spot, Piano's.
Never a disappointment.
Currently reading.

The turkey burger, nachos & mesclun salad.

Margaritas, beer & whiskey.

Now, a little daytime drunk and still going, we headed to Tompkins Square Park
to observe Ninjasonik's "Turnt Up" video shoot from a distance.
All of the action:

Boys off bikes.

Later on, a small group of us hung out and chit-chatted for hours at No Fun Bar.
Such a cute little spot, definitely a new favorite for me/us.

KITTEN KLAN.

Love notes from my babygirl.

With all of this beautiful weather NYC was having,
Tuesday came stumbling in and my brother proposed we go on a sibling date.
We roamed the city, hit the American Apparel Warehouse sale, since this was his
only day off, then had lunch...
With a spontaneous surprise to finish the day off.
We decided on having lunch at Cafeteria.
We shared the Mac & Cheese Spring Rolls and then I had the Soup & Sammie.
The tomato soup is immaculate.

During lunch, my brother came up with the idea of getting tattooed.
He only has one and was pretty anxious to add on,
so we headed to Whatever Tattoo on Saint Mark's Place.
Yes, this is my (not so) little brother.
Gotta love him.

February has been pretty awesome and since I rambled so much on my last post,
I figured I'd leave this one visually stimulating, but short and sweet.
Hope all of you darlings enjoyed.

THE AIR IS FILLED WITH MORE THAN LOVE.

Beloved Brooklyn.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, we had a delicious, yet simple dinner at Grimaldi's.
Our pizza was Margherita and half covered with Italian cured olives.
A romantically old-fashioned setting, delicious food and super reasonable prices.
While temperatures were fairly okay, there was slight precipitation.
Following dinner, we decided to keep it low-key...
Picked up some wine, headed home and relaxed.
Target run.
Good morning for you, but the end of the night for us.
This is what it looks like outside when we leave parties.
Petting pups at Lit: Norm.
At Lit, for Get Active's Freshman Class, part 3.

This past Friday night into Saturday morning, at The Mosh.

Ah, just our usual start to every week... A sleepover with my main shorty.
This time we decided to make a delicious Greek salad pizza for dinner.
We cooked the thin pizza crust, then brushed it with extra virgin olive oil.
Mixed the tomatoes, cucumbers and kalamata olives with feta cheese, oregano and olive oil,
then placed it on top of the baby spinach, which we placed on top of the warm crust.
Simply amazing.

Hm... How is the year already passing by so quickly? I've had this month off from school, but I start up again on the 24th. My schedule is a little sporadic, since I'm trying to get select classes out of the way. My schedule currently consists of: Renaissance Art, Modern Architecture, History of Women in Art and Science of Nutrition. I'm thinking about picking up one more class, but I haven't made up my mind for sure yet. Aside from school, life is grand. Valentine's Day was alright, dinner was delicious. I'm currently trying to figure out my travel plans for this year. I want to revisit Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Niagara Falls and Jamaica. I'm sure I'll get to do at least two before the year is up. My Mom and I are planning on doing another mother/daughter trip, this time to London - Especially excited for this! I'm also thinking about how I might spend my birthday, which is in April. Luckily, this year, it falls on a Sunday, so it should be a weekend of celebrating! Last year I spent it in Paris, not sure if I'll be able to top that, but we'll see... Everything else has pretty much been the same. I've been spending lots of quality time with my kittens and I've also been doing my usual, which includes cooking and eating delicious food. I made dinner for boyfriend last night and it was pretty impressive: Pepper steak, sauteed herb potatoes and garlic green beans. He was happy, so was I. This Tuesday I plan on developing one roll of film, two if I'm lucky. Pretty psyched for those results.

Last, but not least: I updated the links of the icons underneath my blog ID photo, on the sidebar.
Don't be shy to connect with me, darlings.
