Hey babydolls. How are you all doing? Today was a pretty enjoyable, productive day. I headed to Soho for the day with my brother. The two most important things on my to-do list were: Pick up the Nikon L110 from Best Buy + pick up some canvas and paint from Blick Art Supplies. First stop was Best Buy and everything went pretty smoothly. I purchased the camera for the sale price, which was 252$, along with the 2 year protection plan. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase because it's an investment. Since I travel, have a blog and take pictures regularly, the camera I use is quite important. Although it's a tad bigger than what I'm used to, it's worth carrying around. After Best Buy, my brother and I roamed around, as he picked up a few things. He also treated me to lunch at the Soho Park cafe, before we roamed around some more. Our last stop was at the art store, where I picked up some canvas, acrylic paints + some new brushes. I'm painting a piece for the living room wall, since we just had the whole second floor of our house renovated. I'll most likely be keeping the blog updated with the progress of the project. All in all, we had a pretty lovely day. I'm just enjoying the few days I have off before my finals on June 7th and the start of summer classes on June 14th. So far I've received two grades: A- in Drawing and A in Design. I'm pretty content with them, I guess. I've been procrastinating on creating study outlines for my Modern Philosophy final, which is on Monday - EEK. I really need to get on that ASAP. I'm also applying to volunteer at the MoMA - The Museum of Modern Art. So I'll probably spend about two days a week this summer doing that, it's something I'm really looking forward to. How old is your brother?
It's so weird that you're still not quite done with finals yet. I'm already 3 weeks into my summer classes already :( it's midterms exams for me. I'm so noooot looking forward to that at all. No bueno!

@ Lizzy: I know! I thought it was such a great deal, as well. I really couldn't allow myself to miss out on it. I'm really satisfied with my purchase. I'm trying to use every excuse to take pictures with it every chance I get, lol. I think I'm becoming a little annoying because of it. My brother is 20, he'll be 21 this upcoming December. He's younger than me, but way taller. Of course, lol.
Yeah, my school is stupid and behind, but eh. We start late and finish late, but I don't really mind it as much as I did in the beginning. At least you're half way through your summer courses! Lucky you. Ugh, I don't blame you, but I'm sure you'll do great! Good luck. <3
