IMPATIENTLY WAITING...

i procrastinated for so long before i finally got these.
i've wanted them since last year but i felt like they weren't
worth the price,
they just went on sale like, 3 days ago.
so i had to order them.
they arrived today.
i am very pleased.

STUCK.

so, moving out isn't as easy as it may look.
rent is not fun, not even in brooklyn or queens.
i looked into one bedrooms and even studios in
decent to good areas in both boroughs and it's
just not happening... any time soon at least.
i might as well stay home and continue saving.
i am my only rush anyway, i just WANT to.
so, i might as well stick it out until i'm better established.

as my substitute, i am ridding myself of the clutter
and turning this bedroom into a clean slate.
getting rid of everything & definitely repainting.
don't get me wrong - i love this color,
i did this all on my own and i'm proud of it.
purple is my absolute favorite...
but it's time for something new and fresh.
maybe i just get bored too easily.
i'm thinking something more along simple lines.
bare and few pieces of furniture, light color.

sometimes trying to think in this room is confusing.
& i know that it's because of what's in it.

time for something new.

I'M TAKING A VOW...

to hold off on anymore shopping until my birthday.

i just bought the boots that i've wanted for a year last night,
only because they FINALLY went on sale and i needed brown boots.
& this pair of jeans/pants from urban that i really wanted.

i have enough crap for winter.
alright, who am i kidding?
i have enough crap for every season.

i'm getting rid of a lot before my birthday and donating it,
so i can make a little room for some new spring/summer things.
i want too many things.

next on my list is my 5th tattoo.
i plan on getting it some time in march.
but, that is all.

MY CURRENTS.

i finally got a much needed pedicure today
& went back to sephora... again.

so, here we go:
1. be delicious by DKNY.
this perfume is so amazing
& the first one that i've ever purchased twice.
2. big fatty colored mascara by urban decay,
in the color purple haze.
3. twist & shout by dante.
i found this color in the nail salon,
and bought it from them.
i really just couldn't help myself.

HAY IS FOR HORSES...

so last year,
i got really bold
& decided to chop my hair off.
sometimes i just need change,
so i went shorter than i normally would
when i go for a 'hair cut'.
please don't ask me what i was thinking,
why or how i felt/feel when i figured out
that this was the ultimate fail of 2008.

after i chopped it,
my scalp rebelled & my hair just
stopped growing all together.
i am desperate... well, i was.
and desperate times call for desperate measures.
i have resorted to using horse shampoo.
BUT GUESS WHAT -
it's actually working.
my hair is so much fuller AND
it's definitely grown some in the past week.
i am loving this stuff.
neesha now calls my hair my mane.

(this is my newest recommendation
for anyone who may need it.
pick it up any place shampoo is sold.
it's around $8 or so.)
